Start a conversation.
We work with a small number of firms at a time. If you're wondering whether there's a fit, the right move is a direct conversation. No discovery call process, no sales sequence. Just reach out.
We execute a mutual NDA before any engagement involving firm data. All data is stored in Australia. A one-page information security statement is available on request.
30 minutes with both founders.
Pick a time that suits you. No agenda required, just a straight conversation about your firm and whether we can help.
Before you reach out.
The questions firms most often ask before starting a conversation with us.
How do you work with professional services firms?
We work with a small number of firms at a time, and both founders are involved in every engagement. Most work takes one of three shapes: a Solutions Subscription where we run and improve your systems on an ongoing basis, defined Project Work that designs and builds a system from scratch, or a focused Strategy Session around a single decision.
Do you only work with law firms?
Our deepest experience is in law, but we work across Australian professional services. The underlying capabilities (agentic AI, data infrastructure, reporting and business intelligence, workflow automation and system integration) apply to any firm that runs on matters, billables and a stack of platforms that do not talk to each other.
What happens after I get in touch?
One of the founders replies directly, usually within one business day. There is no discovery-call funnel and no sales sequence. Just a straight conversation about your firm, what is getting in the way, and whether we are the right people to help.
How is our firm's data handled?
We execute a mutual NDA before any engagement involving firm data, and all data is stored in Australia, consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles. A one-page information security statement is available on request.
Where is Blackletter Lab based?
We are based in Queensland and work remotely with firms across Australia. We understand the platforms Australian firms run, the compliance landscape they navigate, and the commercial pressures they face. No generic offshore playbooks.
